Code Review
A careful pass over code that already exists
- Price
- $600
- Delivery window
- 7 days
Overview
An in-depth review of an existing codebase, quoted at seven days. The output is a written assessment of what is solid, what is fragile, and what to do about the fragile parts first.
Scope, milestones and what counts as finished are agreed in the booking conversation rather than assumed from this page.
Good fit if
- You are approaching a launch, an acquisition or a handover
- A codebase grew quickly and nobody has had time to read all of it
- You want an independent view rather than a colleague being polite
How booking works
Pick a service and a date
The price and the delivery window come from the service catalogue on the server. The browser never sends either, so the figure you see is the figure that is recorded.
The request is stored
Submitting writes the booking to the database immediately, before any notification email is attempted, so a mail failure cannot lose the request.
You get a confirmation
The booking starts as pending. Nothing is scheduled and no date is held until it is confirmed with you directly.
